About Me
My roots are in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, a rural community about two hours from Toronto, where I grew up. My journey has since taken me across continents, enriching my perspective with diverse experiences. I’ve had the opportunity to live in Caen and Paris, France, and Bamberg, Germany, and I’m currently based in Strasbourg, France. These experiences haven’t just broadened my horizons; they’ve also honed my adaptability and cross-cultural communication skills.
Professionally, I’m currently pursuing a Master in Customer Journey Digitalization at EM Strasbourg, and I am undertaking an internship as an ERP Finance Support Officer & Digital Finance Project Coordinator at Socomec. My role involves crucial project coordination and support for Digital Finance initiatives, such as European e-invoicing deployment. This program is helping me develop a deep understanding of how to optimize the entire customer experience in the digital world. I’m particularly interested in Project Management within the IT field, drawing on my exposure to technology through my parents’ careers and my own growing skillset. I’m passionate about leveraging technology to create seamless and engaging interactions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Professional Experience & Skills
I’ve had the opportunity to develop a diverse set of skills through both my academic pursuits and professional experiences. My Master’s coursework has focused heavily on international management and digital marketing tools, giving me a solid foundation in strategic planning and digital engagement. I’ve gained hands-on experience with various tools like BigQuery, Lighthouse, and Canva, which are essential for data analysis, performance optimization, and content creation.
Before my Master’s, I worked as an administrative assistant at an architecture office. As part of a small business, I wore many hats, serving as a secretary, providing front-line technical support for both hardware and software, and even designing templates for internal project analysis. This role provided invaluable experience in problem-solving and managing diverse responsibilities in a dynamic environment. My various roles in customer service have further refined a core set of transferable skills, including: collaboration, conflict resolution, effective communication, patience, problem-solving, and time management.
I’m keen to apply these skills and my growing knowledge in customer journey digitalization and IT to project management roles where I can help transform ideas into effective solutions.
Volunteering & Community
I believe in the importance of giving back to the community. For seven years in Canada, I proudly volunteered with the local Lions Club. During my time there, I played an active role in their major fundraising events. I choreographed dance routines and assisted backstage for their variety shows, and also contributed by working in the food truck. These experiences provided valuable insights into event management, teamwork, and community engagement.
Personal Interests
In my personal time, I enjoy a variety of creative and engaging pursuits. I’m an avid reader, always looking for my next literary adventure. I find joy and expression in dancing, and I’m passionate about photography, capturing moments and perspectives through my lens. On occasion, I also delve into web design, which allows me to combine my creative interests with my growing technical understanding.
